Pumps can remain at the bedside without interrupting ongoing therapies. This solution can also serve as a basis for standardizing therapy approaches throughout the hospital.
Additionally, the B. Braun Health Cloud provides direct access to the latest software.
B. Braun’s AutoProgramming is a computerized, secure and largely automated workflow for infusion parameter programming with bedside order verification. The pump can receive orders from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) wirelessly and send pump data to the EMR for documentation.
The process requires scanning of the patient's label and the medication labels, followed by scanning of the pump identification.
With its wireless capabilities in AutoProgramming, the Space®plus & OnlineSuiteplus ecosystem makes it possible to create a closed loop system to implement efficient medication workflows and to minimise pump-related adverse drug events.
The Space®plus & OnlineSuiteplus system introduces bi-directional encrypted data communication to protect sensitive patient and therapy data.
The system makes for more data security in the hospital using state-of-the-art security standards & specifications.
