WHO WE ARE

Your Time to Make A Difference

B. Braun Global Group‘s corporate philosophy of “Sharing Expertise” is our promise to share experience, knowledge and seek constructive interaction with healthcare professionals. “Sharing Expertise” also means we challenge and support each other, so that together we can improve our products, services and health throughout the world. We work passionately to improve therapies, reduce risks and make healthcare processes more effective and efficient.

Our company values are represented through our “Core Competencies” which are the foundation upon which our culture is built. Regardless of job title, function or responsibility, our employees are our ambassadors of these values.

In addition to this, providing a family friendly work environment remains a fundamental part of our corporate culture. Our flexible work models reflect the changing demands of different stages of life. The cultural and social diversity of the company is reflected at all levels of our workforce.

A constructive and positive relationship with employees and their representatives as well as an open, active culture of cooperation is important to us.

During Covid-19

Throughout this period, our employees’ health and wellbeing has been, and always will remain our number one priority.  We have altered the way we work and continued to monitor this daily to ensure our people are safe and feel supported.

Prior to the Australian Government’s directions being introduced, we advised it was mandatory for majority of our employees to work from home. As we are an essential service, certain departments, such as Customer Service, Supply Chain and Aesculap Technical Services, were able to continue their job duties by introducing split shifts to minimise physical contact and remain safe.

Mental health and wellbeing is a priority at B. Braun where we are proud to have created a supportive culture and workplace. Our communication levels have increased, leadership teams are educated to notice behavioural changes and all employees are aware they can reach out to each other and be assured support will be there. We also have an employee assistance program that is provided to all employees for confidential support when needed. We are proud in what we have achieved during this challenging period and believe we have managed this unprecedented time successfully so far. Although the physical distance was introduced, we remain close as a team.

REASONS TO JOIN OUR B. BRAUN FAMILY

Our family values are demonstrated across all levels of the organisation, we truly care for one another and the working environment (whether it be from home or in the office) is a positive place that employees enjoy coming to everyday.

Contributing to our family values, we have implemented additional activities that employees are able to take part of which increases our team work through cross functional involvement. Activities such as our yearly ping pong competition or an occasional barbeque to celebrate Oktoberfest provides an opportunity to have fun with your colleagues.

B. Braun rewards the work of its employees with performance based compensation systems and supports the career path of every individual with a wide range of training and professional development opportunities. We encourage our employees to continue to develop knowledge, skills and experience. We provide personal development plans to relish the opportunity for employees to achieve their full potential throughout all stages of their career.  We value hard work, acknowledge internal talent and frequently promote from within.

To give back to our community, we partner with our local universities and run a successful internship programme for final year students. This provides students with an opportunity to gain corporate work experience, be involved in real projects and learn from senior employees who have a vast experience and are happy to share their expertise.

As a family-owned business, B. Braun acts around the world as a "citizen of society." We consider this to mean that we act as a good citizen for society in the long term, beyond our actual business activities, and set an example for other companies.

We are convinced that sustainable thinking strengthens our company, encourages growth, and makes an essential contribution to remaining an independent family-owned business in the future. Sustainable action promotes collaboration with colleagues, strengthens relationships with customers, partners and society, and creates added value as a result.

At B. Braun Australia and New Zealand, we are involved in a number of charitable organisations that we have continuously supported for years. Our most recent campaign supports Australian wildlife after the devastating bush fires we witnessed that wiped out one third of our wildlife.

We also support our employees who are involved in helping within their own communities by providing 2 paid days of volunteer leave.

You will be able benefit from Novated leasing, Staff Shop, Service milestone rewards and employee referral bonus.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

B. Braun have partnered with Randstad Sourceright to implement a total Talent Program onsite to deliver end to end recruitment for B. Braun in Australia and New Zealand.

When you apply for a role at B. Braun, your details are captured in our candidate database, where you will be considered for both current and future opportunities.  If you aren't ready to apply for a role, you also have the option to complete a form and submit your details to join our talent community. This will ensure you are the first to know about new roles that match your profile.

If your application has been shortlisted for a role, the B. Braun recruitment process is:

You will be contacted by our Talent Advisor to arrange a Virtual Screening Interview, which will be conducted over MS Teams.   We will ask about your background, what type of role you are looking for, your availability and your interest in joining B. Braun – and this a great time to ask specific questions about the role.

If you are a great fit and have been selected for interview, you will have a Hiring Manager Interview, where you will meet with the Hiring Manager for a more detailed discussion around your relevant skills and experience. Our first round interviews are either in person or over MS Teams, and are usually Behavioural or Competency style interviews – and our Talent Advisor will help you prepare for this style of interview.

For Sales, Marketing and Clinical roles – the Second Interview will be with either the Hiring Manager’s Manager, or another Key Internal Stakeholder such as a Product Manager and/or an HR Manager.  This interview will focus more on your potential fit for the team, and any areas to focus on from the First Interview – our Talent Advisor will give you feedback on your first interview and help you prepare for the second round interview as well.

Depending on the role, there may also be a Meet and Greet to give you the opportunity to informally meet the B. Braun team you will be joining.

Reference / Pre Employment Checks – you will be asked to provide details of two to three Referees who can provide feedback on your performance: ideally a Manager that you have reported to.

Once you have accepted the job, we’ll discuss a potential start date and organise your on boarding.
