B. Braun has announced the introduction of paid parental leave to all B. Braun staff in Australia
B. Braun has announced the introduction of paid parental leave to all B. Braun staff in Australia. This new scheme is offering employees up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave. This support is in addition to the current parental leave offered by the Australian Government.
The gender-neutral parental policy will benefit a primary carer (an employee, or employee’s spouse or defacto spouse). The new scheme will come into effect from 1st January 2021 and will be available to the birth parents and adoptive parents of children under 16 years of age.
Louise Busuttil, Senior Human Resources Manager of B. Braun Australia said: “As a family-owned business, we recognise the importance that family brings to our lives. By introducing paid parental leave, we are demonstrating to our people that they are truly valued and this is another way to show them our sincere appreciation for their contributions to the company.”
